Mr. Michael Leong is currently the Executive Director at HOPE Technik, a system integrations engineering company. He co-founded HOPE Technik in 2006 which has since grown from a start-up to a successful company that has developed over 400 integrated solutions globally. Mr. Leong has been aligning technology and business needs, enabling robotics to augment and aid everyday tasks throughout his career. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer (HOPE Technik) and Chief Executive Officer of SESTO Robotics, a spin-off company of HOPE Technik, specialising in the field of autonomous technology.
Use of Standards in Innovation & Technology Development

Engineering standards such as ISO, IEC, and ASTM are perceived as obstacles to innovation and technology advancement. Contrary to this notion, we find that these standards play a pivotal role in accelerating product innovation and development. In this presentation, we would like to share insights into how to effectively adopt these standards into the development process.
